Dr. Darren Burgess

Dr. Darren Burgess is an expert in sports science and nutrition and is the first Australian appointed to the Herbalife Nutrition Advisory Board (NAB). Dr. Burgess has experience in education and training, having worked as a lecturer in Exercise Science at Australian Catholic University in Sydney and completing his PhD in movement analysis of AFL and Soccer. He has lectured at prestigious Australian Universities and has had multiple papers published in peer review journals. Additionally, Dr. Burgess has spoken at numerous national and international sports medicine conferences.

Dr. Burgess is currently Head of High Performance at Port Adelaide Football (AFL) Club. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Burgess was Head of Fitness and Conditioning at Liverpool Football Club (EPL) and has a background in sports science and fitness coaching for many top Australian national and regional sporting organisations.

The Herbalife Nutrition Advisory Board (NAB) is comprised of experts from around the world in the fields of nutrition and health, who teach Independent Herbalife Members about the principles of good nutrition, getting regular physical activity and leading a healthy lifestyle.
